Research objectives:
Monitoring and management of Helicoverpa armigera Hubner with native isolates of insect pathogenic fungi (Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana)
Research objectives:
- To assess the extent of infestation and on-farm losses in chickpea crop caused by H. armigera
- To monitor the population dynamics of H. armigera through sex pheromone trap under Rampur condition
- To screen the efficacy of different isolates of native insect pathogenic fungi to H. armigera under laboratory condition
- To evaluate the efficacy of indigenous M. anisopliae and B. bassiana to H. armigera in field experiment
